It's compatible with all the latest Hypercom credit card terminals including the Hypercom ICE 5500. The Hypercom S9 PIN-based device is user-friendly with big, colored number keys for “OK” and “CANCEL” buttons. The Hypercom S9 pin pad comes with updated PCI-PED approved security which can be encrypted with merchant choice of DUKPT or 12 master / session keys. The combination of a Hypercom pin pad and credit card machine is the most cost-effective method for merchants to accept debit transactions.
